The Rockwell Collins Interior Systems Summer Intern Program affords students the ability to:
Access and work with state-of-the-art equipment
Learn and gain practical experience in a hands-on environment
Work on projects and programs currently in progress at Rockwell Collins Interior Systems, which allows the intern to apply knowledge that contributes to the overall business
Earn a competitive salary during the program
Housing assistance (if applicable)
Gain possible future employment
Assist project managers with execution of project plans
Coordinate project activities with multiple teams
Support project manager by writing FAA substantiations, test plans/reports
Support project manager by gathering, reviewing and updating metrics to ensure accurate visibility of project deliverables
Minimum GPA of 3.0
Completion of sophomore year
Enrollment in a Bachelors program for the Fall 2019 semester in related field (Engineering)
Available for a 12 week commitment between May – August 2019
Studying Aerospace Engineering preferred
Familiar with Microsoft Office products
Familiar with any 3D CAD system (Unigraphics a plus)
School or work experience with report writing and testing a plus
