JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform basic design duties that include but not limited to:

  • Prototype part building, laboratory test execution and documentation

  • Test fixture design and construction

  • Drawing change tracking, 3D models and drawing creation,

  • Basic design calculations, coordination

  • Database administration

  • Hold design review of proposed designs

  • Report of project status via presentations to engineering teams

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum GPA of 3.0

  • Completion of sophomore year

  • Enrollment in a Bachelors, Masters, or PhD program for the Fall 2019 semester in Mechanical Engineering

  • Candidate is required to be proficient in Microsoft Office Products.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATONS

  • It is also desirable for the intern to be proficient in Labview/data acquisition software, Matlab, Minitab and 3D Modeling Software (Unigraphics, Solidworks).
