As a leader in the aerospace industry, we have a number of exciting positions available right now, including a Model Maker ( temp) in our Seating Products business located in Winston-Salem, NC.
Works on assignments that require skills in fabrication and assembly of finely finished models, mockups, and prototypes of aircraft seats.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Assembles mock-ups to simulate new product appearance, to a high standard. Experience in the design and manufacture of machined, molded and cast parts and assemblies.
Works from blueprints, sketches, and receives verbal and written instructions.
Designs and constructs tools, molds, jigs and fixtures for assembly and manufacturing need to meet production schedules and objectives. Should be able to resolve problems and make routine recommendations. Should be able to use a variety of complicated measuring instruments. May receive general instructions on new assignments.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
One year certificate from college or technical school; and two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
